Butch Calderwood

Legendary Cinematographer
Butch Calderwood OAM ACS was admitted to the ACS Hall of Fame in 2002. He received a Medal (OAM) in the General Division in the 2003 Queens Birthday Honours List. He was awarded this in recognition for his contribution to Cinematography. Now in his 80th year, Butch shares his stories as a combat cameraman in multiple war torn locations around the world and the early years of television both here in Australia & in Britain.

In a career spanning over four decades, Peter James ACS ASC CSC is undoubtedly one of Australia's best Cinematographers & Directors of Photography with over 32 feature films and TV productions under his belt. His credits include movie classics such as Caddie (1976) Driving Miss Daisy (1989) Meet the Parents (2000) and most recently Mao's Last Dancer (2009), his 12th film with Director Bruce Beresford. His words of wisdom & experience for the cinematographers of tomorrow is definitely worth a view.

Greg Low

Legendary Cameraman, Director, Documentary Filmmaker
On 11 November 1975 Prime Minister Gough Whitlam said "Well may we say God Save the Queen, because nothing will save the Governor General", then 21 year old cameraman Greg Low shot that historic TV footage. He has directed documentaries in the world's most dangerous, remote and challenging locations: HIV, An African Problem, Tamil Tigers Peace Accord, Southern African Famine, Mongolia and the Street Children & Roads to Xanadu as well as bringing to our screens the vision that made the charity World Vision one of the most supported in Australia.

The Pieter-Dirk Uys Story, won him a British Film Institute Award and IF Independent Spirit Award. Darling!, which he started shooting at age 16. He is also an AFI Award-winning journalist.
